Premise
The theater smells of burnt sugar and ozone. A rusted “W” hangs above chrome and obsidian flooring. Charlie—now old, gaunt, and hollow—holds a Golden Ticket that crumbles into dust. The factory behind him is a skeletal ruin. Beneath the whimsy is a biological machine. Beneath the machine is ritual. Beneath ritual is appetite.
This is not a story about corruption. It’s a story about awakening—too late, and too clearly.
